Moving to Tel Aviv
To move to Israel, a single moving company, Let’s start with Tel Aviv's History: Tel Aviv was founded April 11, 1909. That day, several dozen families gathered (have reached) on the sand dunes on the beach outside Yafo to allocate (divide) plots of land for a new neighborhood they called Ahuzat Bayit, later known as Tel Aviv The real development of Tel Aviv started (took off) with the arrival of Scottish urban planner, Mr. Patrick Geddes. In response to the unplanned expansion of the city, Geddes was invited by the municipality in 1925 to provide a complete master plan (comprehensive) to Tel Aviv. In his vision, Tel-Aviv would become a garden city, as foreseen by its founders. His plan called for a clear separation between the main streets, residential streets and vegetation filled pedestrian boulevards. An important element of his plan, reflecting the social climate of the time, was the creation of shared public spaces - in the shape (form) of parks and squares. The city was again transformed in 1932 by starting a massive wave of immigration of Jews fleeing persecution in Europe whose arrival has rapidly expanded a small town of 42,000 people in a growing city of 130,000 before 1936. In 1934, in the middle of this wave (Fifth Aliyah), Tel Aviv was declared as a city, and Meir Dizengoff, the chairman of its board, as its first mayor. Under the influence of clean lines, functional Bauhaus School of Art and Design in Germany, they have adapted the Modern style to suit the culture of Tel Aviv and climate, giving the city its special look (appearance) .
